Unigreat's Fiber MST (Multiport Service Terminal)-also known as an MST Box or MST Fiber Terminal-is a rugged, factory-terminated solution for fast and reliable FTTH broadband deployment. Built with IP68-rated protection and OptiTap compatibility, this fiber MST system reduces installation time, eliminates field splicing, and supports scalable plug-and-play architecture.

How Fiber MST Box Works

· A 12-fiber flat drop cable enters the first Multiport Service Terminal from the FDH.

· Inside the MST Box, the first-position fiber is split (1x2/1x4/1x8) to service nearby subscribers.

· The remaining fibers are re-indexed (shifted forward) to continue the daisy-chain to the next MST Fiber Terminal.

· The fibers are recombined and output via an OptiTap MPO connector to the next Multiport Service Terminal in line.

· This process repeats across up to 12 terminals, simplifying network expansion and maintenance.
