Installation & Maintenance Instructions
Cable Preparation
[End Span] Remove 120cm of optical cable cover for use in the box. The traction member should be 6cm.
[Mid Span] Remove 180cm of cover to bleed the cable. Cut the aramid threads and the traction member. The traction member should be 6cm
Opening of the slim-box
Push the lever of the device to open the box. Once opened. Remove the accessory from the top of the box.
Main entrance
The main entrance allows 8-15mm and 6-8mm cables.
Disassemble the input parts and enter the cable through the hole. In case the cable has a diameter less than 8mm, use self-fusion tape.
Once the cable is inserted, reinstall the parts with the cable inside the box.
Splice Tray
The product is supplied with 16 splice trays. For more splices, use the tray supplied separately (limit of 2 splice trays and 1 adapter tray).
The adapter tray must be acquired separately
Routing the fiber in the splice tray
Always use the supplied splice protection sleeves with a length of 60mm and a diameter of 3mm (when contracted) to prevent incompatibilities.

Always clean connectors before use to maintain optimal signal quality.
Handle bare fibers with care to avoid sharp bends and damage.
Never look directly into fiber ends or connectors when lasers are active to prevent eye injury.
Confirm proper fiber bend radius during maintenance or expansion to avoid signal loss.
